How to Recreate Fashion Week Fall 2017 Looks

Recreate Fall Fashion Trends with Beauty Bakerie

Spoiler alert: there are some fun trends on the runway! While most people are looking at the clothes, we’ve got our eyes focused on the newest makeup trends, and this season was full of looks to cook up on your own.

Fashion Week makeup was geared towards edgy eyes and dark lips, and we’re into it. Sweets, we’ve got your back. We’re sharing our favorite Fashion Week runway makeup trends, plus the perfect Beauty Bakerie baked goods to help you recreate the looks.

Low-Key Wings

A cat eye is always stylish for fall, and the hottest designers agree (looking at you, Tom Ford and Jason Wu). We’re not just talking about a black winged look. We’re talking blackest of the black eyeliner with a low-key wing for a look that’s more dramatic than the Kimye-Swift feud.

To get the look, use our Gelato Gel Eyeliner in Black Milk. Start from the inner corner of your eye and extend out. Once you think you’ve extended the line enough, go a few millimeters further and round it out. Instead of a traditional flick, think smudge. Keep the rest of your makeup neutral so you keep all eyes on your...well, eyes.

Pops of Color

Bright eye color is back and better than ever, but with a new twist. We’ve seen yellow, blue, green, purple and orange before. But this time, we’re seeing high-key stripes of color in unexpected places. Models on the runway debuted these bright colors in the inner corner of their eye, or as a smoky splash across the lid.

Recreate the look yourself with our Neapolitan Palette or Frosted Plums Eyescream. Either dab a spot of color on the inner rim of your eye, or draw it out across the whole lid for smoked-out monochrome look.

Sprinkles on Everything

We love a good touch of sparkle, so we were happy to see it on the runway in makeup form. Outer-eye-only, solid vertical lines, all over shimmer…We found some new recipe inspo for Sprinkles. Build out a bold pop of color, or sweep in a solid vertical line from browbone to cheekbone. In this refreshing take on glitter, any flavor is fair game.

Recreate this look with our Gold or Silver Sprinkles Glitter and So Icy Illuminators. Dampen an eyeliner brush and dip it into the glitter. Apply it like gel eyeliner in the outer corner of your eye, from browbone to cheekbone, or just everywhere. For super-fine lines, first start with Sprinkles Glue to hold your glitter in place all day. With this season’s glitter trends, you can’t go wrong – Fenty x Puma and Anna Sui approved.

Nude Eyes and Bold Lips

If you’re looking for a day off from your EyesCream binge, look no further than long-lasting lip flavors. Deep reds and burgundies to browns are popular for this season’s bold lip looks. Whether you opt for matte Cranberry Stiletto or metallic Cinnamon Roll, vampy Lip Whips are on the menu. For a long-lasting pout, exfoliate first with Sugar Lip Scrub and apply with the Lip Whip applicator. When you’re ready to be cake-free remove with an oil-based liquid lipstick remover.
