How to Look Less Tired With 4-Step Makeup to Wake Up Your Face

How to Look Less Tired With 4-Step Makeup to Wake Up Your Face

Whether you were working, studying, or out having fun, we’ve all had those rough nights with too little sleep where we wake up looking like an extra from The Walking Dead.

Never fear, Sweets, Beauty Bakerie is here! We have recipe inspo for an easy, four-step look to make your skin glow and your eyes look wide awake. This makeup is so easy, you can sleep in a few extra minutes and still have time to pull it together.

Are you ready? Let’s wake up your beautiful face in four steps, and in ten minutes or less.

Step 1: Smooth on Wake & Bake Oil

Every cake starts with the raw ingredients. We all want healthy, perfect skin to build out our baked beats. This is where our Wake & Bake Face Oil comes into your kitchen.

We like to think of this as the secret ingredient to any good makeup recipe because it hydrates while also absorbing oil, so all skin types can rejoice. With antioxidants designed to boost radiance, you’ll feel like a glowing goddess after you apply it.

Pat Wake & Bake Face Oil lightly into your skin, and give it a few minutes to fully absorb. Then, take a moment to smile at that glow you’ve got going on! If you have very oily skin, you can always apply a light dusting of Flour Setting Powder on your t-zone after you Wake & Bake.

Step 2: Add a scoop of Gelato Gel Eyeliner

Leave the black eyeliner at home and instead reach for our Gelato Gel Eyeliner in So Marshmallow. Makeup artists swear by the power of using a pinch of white eyeliner on your bottom waterline or lash line. It not only makes your eyes look wide and awake, it also brightens up your whole face.

Take an angled brush and draw a fine line along your lower lash line, starting at the inner corner of your eye. Keep it in a clean line or slightly smudge it with your fingertip for a natural finish. Thanks to our gel formula, this eyeliner will stay put so you don’t have to worry about reapplying midday.

Step 3: Swipe on Eyelash Icing Mascara

It’s a well-known fact that mascara instantly makes you look more awake (at least at Beauty Bakerie HQ!). With a bat of long black Eyelash Icing lashes, no one will be able to tell if you only slept a wink. Swipe on a few servings of our new waterproof Eyelash Icing Mascara to make your eyes look open and alert!

Step 4: Powder on So Icy Illuminator

Illuminator is a lifesaver when you need to wake up your skin. Light-reflecting particles give you a subtle shimmer and create the illusion that you had a spa day even when you pulled an all-nighter. Our Iced So Icy Illuminator is versatile enough to be used all over your face and body. But before we get carried away, we’ll focus on the face.

For this look, grab a fan brush or a fluffy powder brush from your pantry and dip into your favorite So Icy flavor. Dust lightly onto your cheekbones in an upward motion. Then, take a pinky finger or eyeshadow brush and dot your favorite So Icy Illuminator shade  in the inner corner of your eye. Give a little So Icy, get a lot of glow.

In four steps and ten minutes, you’re beautiful, glowing, and ready to face the day. Even if you need about 24 hours of extra sleep on the inside (*takes sip of coffee*).
